What do you imagine when you think of the homeless? You may be surprised to learn that families are the fastest growing segment of the homeless population. The Warren County Housing Coalition "Day in Time" survey conducted in August 2003 determined that Warren County has a higher rate of homelessness per capita than that of Hamilton County. This
is demonstrated by a nearly 40% increase in legitimate referrals from
calendar year 2002 to 2003 to the Interfaith Hospitality Network of
Warren County.
